Ringmore Vean is in the heart of the quiet village of Ringmore in the South Hams, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Ringmore is a typical chocolate box Devon village with thatched cottages and buildings dating back to the 13th Century.

With some of the most varied and spectacular coastline and beaches you’ll find anywhere, a rural landscape that has hardly changed in centuries and the majestic granite slopes of Dartmoor, the South Hams is an unique destination worthy of its status as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

There are plenty of places to eat in and around Ringmore, the local pub, the Journeys End Inn is just 150 metres from the house and serves real ales and lovely fresh, local food.

The Oyster Shack

is a lovely seafood restaurant about 1½ miles from Ringmore and is open for lunch and dinner.

The thriving town of Modbury

is just a couple of miles away and offers pubs, restaurants and a great selection of shops.

The ancient market town of Kingsbridge

is 8 miles away offering a larger selection of interesting shops and restaurants.
